Hey lovelies,
I hope you're having a wonderful day, and I hope you are really happy today.
I wanted to reach out to the people that aren't so happy right now and are going through a break up.
I came up with a couple of things that helped me while getting over a break up and I hope this helps you.
1. Time
Everyone will be telling you that time will heal everything and it really is true it really does take a really long time to get over somebody. You can't expect to take someone out of your life and be ok the next day.
2. Let it go.
Let go of the fact that you are apart now, let go of all the tears, let go of the hold that you once had on them.
3. Avoid Contact with the ex
Avoid any calling, texting, tweeting, facebooking even looking at their pictures. You need to avoid them even for a little while just to get over them.
4. Stay Busy.
You need to find things that make you happy, whether it's painting, singing, having a pet what ever it is you need to be busy. Get a part time job or hang out with friends.
5. Don't rethink your decision.
You need to have confidence in your decision, you really need to think that everything happened for a reason.
6. Remove Memory Triggers.
Put everything that reminds you of them in a box and put it far away!
LET GO!!

Saving your Face
Hey lovelies,
I hope your having a wonderful day, I'm in a big blogging mood. I've been looking through blogs today and watching gossip girl ( I love Blair's fashion! Can I have her closet for like a week? please) Back to the point all the girls on the show have amazing make up as well and it's very important to take nice skin in order for the make up to go on nicely. Here are some important tips and tricks that have worked for me in the past.
1. Sleep
Sleeping is the easiest and the most important thing that you can do. Even if you use the best product sleeping really matters the most. If you don't believe it, try not sleeping for a couple of days and beautiful bags will appear.
2. Water
It's very important to moisturize, drinking water is so important for your body and skin. Drink 8 glasses of water a day, wash your face 2 times a day and hydrate your face as needed. You can spray water on your face not only is it refreshing but it's so good for you too.
3. Sun screen
Wrinkles, sunburn, spots, cancer... Need I go on?
4. Don't smoke.
Not only does it smell like hell, ruins your lungs and looks very bad on a girl. It also clogs your pores and causes wrinkles.
5. Take it off.
It's very important to take your make up off at night, really clean your skin from all the make up and pollution. And it looks disgusting on pillows.
I hope this helps some of you,
Until next time
xoxo...Kristina

Myth or Fact?
Hey everyone, hope you're having a fabulous summer. I was reading a magazine this week and came across this interesting article that I wanted to share with you.
Myth or Fact?
1. Reading in low light damages vision.
It may cause eye strain which may lead to your eyes becoming red and irritated, but it will not damage vision. Eyestrain will usually correct itself in 20 to 30 minutes if you stop reading or watching tv.
2. Spicy foods cause heartburn. MYTH
Smoking, alcohol, eating beyond the point of being full, certain medication and sleeping in certain positions are much more likely to cause heartburn.

Smoking, alcohol, eating beyond the point of being full, certain medication and sleeping in certain positions are much more likely to cause heartburn.
3. Frozen fruit and veggies are often as nutritious as fresh ones. FACT
What people consider to be "fresh" produce has actually travelled hundreds or even thousands of miles to get to their grocery store and has likely sat in the storerooms and on grocery store shelves for a number of days or weeks. Frozen fruits and veggies are often frozen soon after being harvested, thus locking in most of the produce's nutrients.
4. Individuals who often multitask are more productive. MYTH
Turns out that when we try to do two things at once we are less productive than if we would do each task individually.
5. Chocolate is good for you. FACT
Are you a chocolate lover like me? Do you sometimes feel guilty for indulging yourself? Well, researchers are now telling us that chocolate has actually positive health benefits. Some of those benefits include reducing our risk for heart attacks, strokes, and even cancer. It contains compounds called flavonoids which have strong antioxidant properties and help improve health. Chocolate does contain a fair number of calories so eat it in moderation just one to two ounces a day should do.
6. When you stop exercising muscle often turns to fat. MYTH
Fat and muscle are two separate tissues and one never turns into the other.
7. A cut will heal faster if you uncover it at night. MYTH
We all had a fair share of cuts and scrapes during the years and parents always say to take the bandage off when going to bed to let it "dry up" or "air out". Turns out that keepings your cuts and scrapes covered will actually increase healing rates. usually two to four days faster. Wounds that go uncovered and dry out tend to form hard scabs. which will slow healing. Keeping a wound covered and moist will promote new cell growth and healing.
8. Morning workouts elevate your metabolism more than evening workouts. MYTH
If you set your alarm clock for 5:00am to get your daily workout in thinking it will result in you burning more calories throughout the day, feel free to hit the snooze button and stay in bed. Burning 500 calories from a workout at 5:00am is exactly the same as burning 500 calories at 5:00pm. SO if you prefer to exercise in the evening, feel free to stick to it.
