Unlock your creativity

Hey everyone,
I hope the weather was good for you and you had a lovely day. Ever since I've started taking Graphic Design a lot of my creativity came out and it occurred to me that I really love being creative. I really think that everyone has a creative side, no matter what you love to do there is a creative side to everything. Some people love to write, some like to take pictures, paint, sing anything that it is there is a creative side to everything. I wanted to share some things that you can do to unlock your creativity.

  • Rise and write - To help clear your mind of anything that can be disturbing you or making you upset. When you feel like this just go and do something that you enjoy doing and get creative. Write your feelings down or the situation that happened and it really does help. As soon as you get it out of your head it's like sharing it with somebody and it makes you feel better.
  • Put it 20 minutes daily - That's a really short time every day to get your creativity flowing. Once you get into the habit of taking 20 minutes a day it will become a routine and you will devote more and more time to it daily.
  • Buddy up - When you share your thoughts with other people it makes it real. They can encourage you and have faith in your powers which always helps you.
  • Make an "artist date" - Once in a while just take a day alone ( or an afternoon) and spend it doing things you love. When you do it alone, you can hear your inner voice and you can get more creative that way.
Anything you do, just take little steps to being more creative everyday and after a couple of times you will enjoy it so much that you will want to do it all the time. I just wanted to share a few creative pictures that I took recently I hope you guys enjoy them.
Until next time,,,,

Spoon & Fork

Hello everyone,
I went to a restaurant that recently opened up in Vaughan called Spoon & Fork that has japanese and thai cuisine. The decor in this place is absolutely beautiful.

I was sold on decor alone, it was very modern with very nice wallpaper and big comfy chairs. I loved the chairs so much I want some in my house now. The food at this place was surprisingly good as well. You can either order from the menu individually or do a all you can eat menu which we choose to do to try some new things. I tried their miso soup, margo salad, salmon and pad thai. The main course was very good, I was very surprised by how much I liked the food. The service at spoon & fork was very good as well, it wasn't overwhelming but you could still get service when you needed it. I think this might be my favourite place in Vaughan now.
Until next time,,,,

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating

Teaopia - Pina Colada

Hey everyone,
Spring has finally arrived and what's a better way than to celebrate with a Pina Colada. I'm a huge fan of tea so i visit Teaopia very often. In my opinion it's one thing to see the tea in store and smell it but its very different when you bring it home and actually brew it yourself. Therefore I wanted to share for thoughts of my own on a tea that I purchased recently.

Pina Colada
This tea has a mixture of hibiscus, apple pieces, rose-hip peel, candied pineapple and coconut flakes. The smell of this tea is wonderful, it really smells like pina colada especially when you brew it.

The taste is a little sour and has a coconut after taste. (Keep in mind I don't bring tea with sugar) At first the taste is a little weird because I'm used to having pina colada cold and icy. After having my first cup of this tea I was a little turned off but I was craving it the next day. Now that it's getting warm out this drink is actually very refreshing. I like the idea of having a pina colada without any effort of making it and having all the ingredients for it. I think its an interesting idea of having the best of both worlds.

Also I think tea from teaopia or loose tea in general is beautiful and I love the process of brewing this fresh tea.
If you have any other questions I'd be happy to answer. I hope you enjoyed this.
Until next time,

If you are cold, tea will warm you.  If you are too heated, it will cool you.  If you are depressed, it will cheer you.  If you are excited, it will calm you.

Mother's Day Ideas

Hi lovelies,
Now that spring is here, and hopefully the beautiful weather, it's time for us to celebrate this lovely mother's day. Since mothers day is on a sunday it will be super easy for everybody to give their mom lots of attention. I wanted to share for of my gift ideas that I thought would be nice to do for mothers day.

  • Flowers - Every girl in my opinion would love to receive flowers no matter what holiday or occasion it is. Also flowers would bring so much life to any room, I think they really brighten up the space and everyones mood.
  • Breakfast in bed - Moms work so hard at doing everything for us so it would be really nice to treat them to something really special like breakfast in bed. Who wouldn't want to wake up to some yummy smelling food first thing in the morning? I think the nicest smell to wake up to is baking.
  • Taking her out - Whether you want to take her to see a movie, out to lunch, or just walking in the park. I think its really nice to give your mom a whole day just to relax and not have to worry about anything. Get her mind off of everything, get her far away from the house and just enjoy the time together.
  • Perfume - Now that its finally spring and the warm weather is on the way I think a new perfume can really brighten someones mood up as well. Since your mom has been wearing the same perfumes for the winter time how about getting her something light, fresh and flowery to bring her some sunshine into her days.
  • Picture Frame - Mothers love to see their children growing up so how about getting her a picture frame with a picture of you together. Also I think digital frames are a great idea as well because you can put a lot of pictures in one frame and its always nice because it changes all the time.
There are a ton of things that any mother would appreciate so anything you get her I'm sure she will absolutely love. In my opinion you don't have to spend lots of money for the gifts just give your mom lots of love and attention. Spend the whole day with her doing what she likes. Remember your mom will always love you no matter what so give her a special day as well.
I hope you are all doing well and until next time....

We never know the love of the parent until we become parents ourselves.
